About the Shell
Khadi, or hare (Pterocarpus Erinaceus) is the densest and hardest of West African timbers, known for powerful resonance and its signature tiger grain. Instantly recognisable and highly sought after. Many different carving styles give it a wide spectrum of sound.

About the Hide
Medium skins are well balanced with warm tones and bright slaps. They are versatile and suit just about any drum.
Thinner skins produce resonant bass notes and  very bright crisp sounds that lend themselves to soloing. They are also softer on the hands. We take care to find the best hide for the shell to maximise its dynamic range.

We offer LIFE LONG TUNING on every Master Series Djembe bought from us. Just drop your drum in to our St Kilda shop and we’ll do our best to crank it on the spot for you. You can also pick it up at a later date. We’ll even give you advice on how to best look after your drum!

Comes complete with an AD Drum Care and Tuning Guide to help you get the most play out of your drum.
