The cajón is a box-shaped percussion instrument. It’s played by slapping the front face with the hands. Slaves of west and central African origin in the Americas, specifically Peru, are considered to be the source of the cajón. Our Indonesian-made Standard Cajon is versatile, punchy, responsive and fun to play!
