Medium thin suited to: Djembe, Bougarabou, Bongos, Shaman drum
About Disc Sizes: A 12″ disc is suitable for a 12″ drum; the actual diameter of the hide itself will be closer to 17″ to allow room for skinning.

A quick guide to choosing the right skin:
- Thinner skins tend to be more responsive. Sounds are higher and brighter and the skins are easier on the hands. Not recommended for stick drumming
- Medium skins are well balanced with warmer tones and bright slaps when cranked.
- Thicker skins are more durable and perfect for stick playing applications
These skins have their hair removed with a salt based solution – NO chemicals!
We always take extra care in choosing skins that are free from faults and will go the distance on your drum.
