Similar to the Balafon, the Marimba is a “gyl” which originates from North West Ghana and Burkina Faso.
The word “marimba” comes from the Bantu languages meaning “the wood that sings.”
Handmade in Ghana with kiln dried twenaboa keys and gourd resonators.
