Also known as the Fula Flute or Tambin ( b/c they are made from the tambin vine) , this is the traditional flute of the Fulani people of the Fouta Djalon highlands of Guinea. Over time it has been incorporated into the traditional music of the MalinkΓ© people who live in close proximity to the Fulani in Guinea and Southern Mali. They have a distinct and dynamic sound and often feature in ballet orchestras
