Chinese Style “Tanggu” Hall Drum

Inspired by the traditional Chinese Xiao Tanggu ceremonial hall drum, our Tanggu is played with two sticks in celebrations and performances. Usually laid sideways, either head may be played. It can also be played standing upright for a different sound.
