We love a nice bit of Tiger Grain here at AD
Khadi ( or Hare) as it’s known has the most distinguished patterning of all the African hardwoods – a golden to brown swirling grain that can vary in brightness and depth depending on where it comes from.
This cracker originates in Guinea’s Fouta Djallon region and will find it’s home in Australia soon.
Khadi tends to project it’s sound far and wide due to it’s high density. The cutting slaps of a well cranked Khadi drum are signature to it’s style and this beauty is no exception.
We had Mady Keita weave his magic on her and she is ready to lead any ensemble. Have a listen!
