The role is full time and based in our St Kilda Studios and shop.
You’ll need to be the ‘can-do’ type who is pretty autonomous, physically fit, has a manual driver’s license (comfortable driving big vehicles), and is ready to learn. We’ll teach you the rest!

Daily tasks include:
Processing, packing, and posting online orders
Retail shop support (customer service, stock maintenance)
Warehouse maintenance (loading and unloading for deliveries, drum hires etc)
Tuning drums, maintenance and repairing of instruments (we’ll teach you how)
Photographing and coding of products to list online
Working through the Warehouse email inbox

Ideal traits: 
Physically fit (ladder work, lifting, tuning drums)
Good communication and people skills (customer service)
Passion for percussion & drumming experience is a plus
Drivers license a must
Focused and disciplined

African Drumming is a fast paced workplace with plenty going on at all times, so multi-tasking and organisational skills are a must, as are good people and communication skills.

There are also opportunities for additional events and gigs for the right person with relevant skills.

The ideal start time would be early January, but it’s flexible.
The position is 9.30am – 6pm or 9am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday
