We have extensive experience working with people with all kinds of abilities. Whether it's a one off session or an ongoing program, we've achieved great results and brought fun and happiness to hundreds of people. We offer special rates for non profit organisations
A single session workshop is a great activity when you're looking to bring something original and accessible to the classroom. Drumming is a great engagement tool and encourages students to come together as a group Everyone will have a drum to play and we can bring along shakers and bells to mix it up too. We aim to make the workshop as inclusive as possible, giving everyone the chance to have fun and express themselves Contact us to discuss what we can offer |

Drumming is proven to be beneficial to people across a spectrum of abilities and is becoming increasingly popular as a therapeutic activity. Drumming develops retention, coordination and fine motor skills while facilitating social interaction. We recommend a 6 - 10 week programme with a small student performance at the end. |

This formula gives enough time to focus on a basic arrangement and also gain a big sense of achievement and pride as well as closure. |

"I just wanted to say a big thank you from all the students and staff at Kamaruka for our African drumming program. Today we had our final African drumming performance and it was absolutely amazing!
As you know we work with children and adolescents diagnosed with developmental disorders such as ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome so they can be more challenging to work with than typically developing students. Kofi did such an excellent job with our students and I did not ever imagine that they would be able to play the drums so well. He is a really great teacher and I know that each week the students really looked forward to working with him.
Thank you once again!
- Nat, Kamaruka School
"The drumming session was very successful. We were very impressed with the way that Liam was able to manage the children’s energy and excitement and read their needs. The children certainly gained a lot from the experience and we have been able to follow it up with further drumming using our own drums"
Belinda, Ozchild
The confidence and excitement that this has instilled in the students has been phenomenal. Alena works with participants to draw out their creative potential and develop confidence and musical ability. Participants learn about African culture including language, dance and music. The African Drumming Centre continues to support participants of the program and JCAAA look forward to continuing the partnership long into the future. What a fantastic day we had Friday. Nicole was just wonderful so warm and friendly the guys loved her. We all had a great time, the clients really enjoyed themselves with some great positive feedback.
