African Drumming Teacher Training at your school
We come direct to you!

Are you a teacher looking for a simple & engaging education tool?
Is your school interested in implementing African Drumming into its' curriculum?
Do you have a djembe drum in your classroom but are unsure how to best use it?
Are you looking to begin or improve your playing but can't make it to a class?

What if the class came to you... ?
With all the hurdles facing Teachers in gaining more training and Professional Development, African Drumming is offering a unique solution: our mobile teachers come to your school and teach you at a time that best suits you! It may be at lunch, during a free period or even straight after school. All you have to do is arrange a time and place and we do the rest. We will bring all the drums, bells and shakers to your door!
Prepare for a series of lessons that will challenge, excite and empower you in both playing djembe and your understanding of West African percussion.

Over the course of 5 structured sessions we'll explore fundamentals in African drumming technique plus we'll show you how to use the other percussion that makes up the African Drumming Ensemble. On top of this we will explain how the flow chart of African poly-rhythmic music works, as well as work towards a fully arranged piece you can use as a springboard for your own classes. Our aim is to train you in the art of running an African Drumming Program at your school.

Find yourself equipped to take on the powerful music of West Africa with confidence and style.
