Kids Parties - At Our Studio or your place!

African Drumming Parties at our African Studio -
Host your next Birthday party at our amazing African Studio in St Kilda. 
Kids love drumming and dancing!
Our Parties are a unique and fun way for children to learn and play together.
Let them have a ball with all our drums and shakers!!

We cater for children of all ages, capabilities and backgrounds.
Our Studio is a unique cultural centre and a comfortable location with all the amenities for a perfect party with a difference.
We normally run the party for 90 min.
This includes time to arrive and look around our African studio and let the children explore all the beautiful instruments.

The Workshop
Once everyone has arrived and settled in, we can begin the workshop.
We aim on making all our workshops as inclusive and fun as possible for all the children by giving them a chance to explore their creativity, feel a sense of community, and let off some energy too!
All the children will have their own drums and shakers
We start with a demonstration on all the wonderful African instruments by our teacher(s)
We then do a warm up, then work on a simple traditional African rhythm where they all play along together.

We can also include some African dancing and singing if the children are keen.
The workshop itself normally goes for 40 min (a little less for younger children and sometimes longer for older ones)

After the workshop you are welcome to use the Studio for the remaining time to celebrate, sing a Birthday song , eat and drink.

What we Provide-
We supply big tressle tables, toilets, microwave  and a sink.
You will need to bring your own food and drinks
