African Drumming - Team Building Events and Interactive Workshops - Increased productivity
Dundun classes are back in 2010 and held at least once a month.
Learn to play the traditional base rhythms with sticks. To have a deep understanding of Polyrhythmic music, we must understand where the rhythm's base structure lies. The hand drum parts are all moulded around the rhythm's base structure.
Playing with sticks requires a different approach to hand drumming and will
stimluate co-ordination and left / right brain awareness.
Its also a stack of fun!
In the beginner class we start with the "ballet style" dun playing which is upright playing with a stick in both hands .
In the Intermediate class we start to develop the relationship with the bell and the independance required to play dun and bell at the same time.
